Umiko is a member of the Mazaki clan that especialises in water tecniques.
Her mother die when she was 2 years of a sickness and since then she lives with her father Fujimaro , a powerful ANBU of Konoha.
She thinks she's perfect in everything, she's always saying that she's the most beautiful kunoichi in all the world and that Sasuke is going to be with her at the end.
She's another fan of Sasuke Uchiha , and fights most of the time with Ino and Sakura for it.
At the begining she reclaims Iruka-sensei about her team (Asumi and Akira) , but Iruka tell her that there's nothing he could do with it and she needs to accept her team.
With time, she learns to stop looking at the mirror and concentrate more on the missions.
On the chuunin exams , she congratulate SHino by defeat Zaku , and Asumi and Akira start to suspect that she has a crush on Shino(that's true).
She fights against a ninja of the grass land . At first she seem to win the battle but the guy defeat her and broke her arm.
At the end of the first part, she ask Asumi if she can help her to learn more water tecniques and Asumi thinks it is to impressed Shino.
On Shippuden she has become a chuunin very talented ,but she still think she's perfect.
She still like Shino but she hasn't tell him and when he's near her , she blushes .
